It was such a gorgeous Spring day out, I just had to take a break from episode 3 and go for a walk with the 10th Doctor Puppet. We visited Pratt Institute, my alma mater. I love the campus so much! It’s more like a sculpture garden than a traditional college campus. This is where I first learned about animation. Good memories.

“How the Doctor Puppet Saved Christmas”

It’s finally here! This stop motion Christmas special is a true labor of love made in Alisa’s tiny Brooklyn apartment during her free time. She wants you all to know that she wrote the script and made the snowman puppet weeks before the BBC announced that the official Christmas special would be called “The Snowmen.” She swears that no real TARDIS was used during production.

If you’ve been watching the news you may have heard about the Stormageddon Frankenstorm heading for the East Coast of America tonight. Alisa and I are not in an evacuation zone, so we’re prepared and are staying put in central Brooklyn. Keep dry and safe, East Coast! Remember to get extra water, non-perishable food, batteries, torches and a radio, and to put them in a safe place. Also, keep your mobile phones charged! Oh yeah, and tomorrow is Alisa’s birthday too. Last year there was a freak ice storm on her birthday, so she’s decided to stop having birthdays after this year. :(
