“How the Doctor Puppet Saved Christmas”

It’s finally here! This stop motion Christmas special is a true labor of love made in Alisa’s tiny Brooklyn apartment during her free time. She wants you all to know that she wrote the script and made the snowman puppet weeks before the BBC announced that the official Christmas special would be called “The Snowmen.” She swears that no real TARDIS was used during production.

Happy Independence Day, America! You’ve been a fine host these past few months. I don’t think I’ll ever understand what happened between you and Great Britain, but I’m glad that everyone seems to be on good terms now. I’ll be celebrating later with some grilled meat and fireworks, the American way!

I returned to Central Park to meet some cool people and explore the Bethesda Terrace area. My space-wacey detector went off near a round medallion set in the ground, as if something astronomical had recently taken place there. I couldn’t quite put my sonic screwdriver on it though. Oh well, it was still a fantastic day to explore the park.

After my trip to the roof of the Flatiron Building, I headed inside. The highlight was when I got to sit in one of those windows on the narrow bit of the building! I got to see more great views of New York just as the sun was setting. On my way out, I checked out the stairs. I could see all the way down! I climbed all the way up, but when I got to the TARDIS I discovered that it was just… a BISCUIT TIN!!! And there weren’t even any Jammie Dodgers in it! So cruel. At least I got to see some amazing views of the New York skyline, especially the Empire State Building. Afterwards I even got a tour inside the Flatiron Building. Check back soon for those pictures!

For two whole days I’ve been stuck in my companion’s tiny apartment with her cat! I keep begging her to help me build a TARDIS (only because my hands are too small to hold most of the tools) but she says she’s too busy “working.” Bug her for me too, okay? 

The Hudson River was a little smelly but I still enjoyed myself. Along the shore I found what I assumed to be an alien egg pod, but my companion informed me that it was merely a water caltrop. It actually is an alien though because it was introduced to North America only recently. I really can relate to that spiky little thing.

I went to Grand Central Terminal today. I was really taken back by the ceiling, and I’m fairly certain I could see Gallifrey up there. I almost missed my train but caught it in the nick of time. I’m traveling North along the Hudson River. The view is lovely, and I think I’m actually getting used to traveling the “slow” way.
