I’ve been told that there’s a man in London who’s more clever than even me. Of course I couldn’t resist dropping by his flat on Baker Street, but no one was in. At St. Bart’s Hospital I looked high and low for the man, but never found him. Sherlock Holmes - we will meet one day!
Of course Alisa and I visited the Tower of London during our travels. Luckily the Ravens of Death were friendly that day.
I may not always be on best terms with the royal family, but I just couldn’t resist dropping by Buckingham Palace. However, the sky was so beautiful that I decided to stay outside the gate this time and admire the views. I’ll try to win over the Queen another day.
We were all over London like custard on fish fingers! Here is a quick look at our first day. I parked the TARDIS in Piccadilly Circus then we took the Underground for easy travel around the city. I love reliable public transportation! I was hoping to meet a certain Inspector Spacetime in his red phone booth DARSIT, but instead was greeted with some rather scandalous photos of young women. They had no shame! Before returning to the TARDIS, we took a stroll along the Thames and saw the Tower Bridge and other sights. It was a perfect day! Luckily we had many more after it, each better than the one before. More photos to come!
I’m enjoying the London Olympics, but I feel like someone was missing from the Opening Ceremony. Oh well. Go everyone!
