On a lovely Spring day, the Doctor Puppet and I went for a walk through Brooklyn. We came across Broken Angel, an institution of a building in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. Doesn’t it look like a place where you’d find a weeping angel?
Happy Birthday David Tennant!
I can’t wait ‘til November to see what you have in store for us. It’s been far too long.

“The Red X” became the first Doctor Puppet video to pass 100,000 views last night! “The Conjunction of Eleven” passed 50,000 at the same time! To celebrate an excellent first week, I’ve treated myself to some new shoes. What do you think?
Merry Christmas Tumblr! I love you all!
“How the Doctor Puppet Saved Christmas”
It’s finally here! This stop motion Christmas special is a true labor of love made in Alisa’s tiny Brooklyn apartment during her free time. She wants you all to know that she wrote the script and made the snowman puppet weeks before the BBC announced that the official Christmas special would be called “The Snowmen.” She swears that no real TARDIS was used during production.
We hope you enjoy it. Happy Wholidays!
Hey everyone! I dropped some hints earlier about the project Alisa and I are working on, and now I want to give you a proper sneak-peek.
We’re making an animated Christmas special! It’s the biggest project we’ve undertaken for this blog, and we really hope you all like it. The set has been taking up a good portion of Alisa’s apartment for the last couple of weeks, and animation is finally nearing completion. It will premiere the weekend before Christmas!
Are you in the holiday mood yet? We sure are!
It’s a fine night to release a teaser for a Christmas Special! And you know what? Snowmen are going to be very cool this year.
I’m back from Dragon*Con and life suddenly seems very dull. I spent the weekend with tens of thousands of friendly people who spoke in a variety of interesting accents and wore the most fascinating outfits. Some carried swords, hammers, bows, and even guns, but no one wanted to fight, just make merry and take photos. The universe could take a lesson from that. The hotels that hosted Dragon*Con were cavernous and truly felt bigger on the inside. I’m not sure how everyone would’ve fit in there on Saturday night otherwise. What a party!
I also made hundreds of new friends. Hello out there! If you took photos of me and Alisa, feel free to post and tag them. Oh, and Alisa had a great time at the art show. She sold lots of robots and jewelry and got some great ideas for next year’s show. We can’t wait!
This week can’t get any better! First I got to go to the NYC Premiere and today Alisa finally surprised me with… the TARDIS! I just went for a quick jaunt into the near past, to make sure everything was in order. Oh, hello me! My hair looks awful from that angle. Yuck.
I am being extremely clever up there, and there is no one standing around looking impressed. What’s the point in having you all? [Video]
I may be extremely clever but I’m still figuring Tumblr out. I just found this fantastic old post. Thanks for the wonderful collage-y thing!
What an amazing show! It was a privilege to hang out on line at the Ziegfeld and wait with hundreds of other fans. I really liked their fashion sense too - lots of tweed and bow ties. The BBC America film crew even interviewed Alisa. I didn’t have much to say though.
The premiere itself was equally thrilling and holding my tongue for the next week is going to be very difficult. Good thing a familiar-looking chap and a lovely ginger made me promise not to spoil anything.
Wow, I got a ticket to the premiere! Alisa and I are beyond excited. Perhaps we’ll see some of you cool folks tomorrow. Geronimo!
I was looking at more photos from my trip to Prospect Park last week and noticed something a bit odd in the background of one. I think I’m about to have some especially good adventures!
It was not a lucky day for Alisa and me. She tried to get a ticket to the NYC Premiere of a well-liked British TV show, but as her payment was being processed the website crashed and her transaction did not go through. She has her heart (and my hearts) set on going, so if you have a spare ticket we would both be very very grateful. I’d ask for one for myself too, but I think the theatre wouldn’t mind if I just sat on Alisa’s lap. It’s times like these when I could really use the TARDIS.
Alisa will make a custom piece of art as a trade. Thank-you!
UPDATE: Ticket has been gotten! Thank-you all for all the kind words and ticket leads. It is truly appreciated.
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been cooped up in the apartment helping Alisa make art and watching the Olympics. I’m so happy for Team GB and Team USA! After seeing all the amazing feats of sportsmanship I was afraid my legs would atrophy, so I went for a walk in Prospect Park. I went a little deeper into the woods than I’ve ever been before, and even found a waterfall. Lovely place, that park.
